MARISA stepped into God's calling for her life to write and teach after hearing the life-changing words, Coram Deo, "live before the face of God."  
  
                 
 
 

Marisa is an ordinary praying-fasting-housewife who learned to live before the face of her extraordinary God in the ordinary moments of life.  Living before the face of God moment by moment (Coram Deo) is the way we were born again in Christ to live.  Marisa's mission is to impart the vision that we can be as close to God in our work places, kitchen, and daily activities as we are when in a cathedral or prayer closet.

 

 

 

 

 
 
 
 
 
  

   

 

 Romans 8:15 says, "God's Spirit touches our spirits and confirms who we really are.  We know who He is, and we know who we are: Father and children."  Marisa addresses the greatest need we have right now: to renew our minds with the simple realities of our love relationship with God.  We speak of God's love and how we are His children, but too much of our Christian life is lived out of the mindset of a slave, a delinquent, or an orphaned waif.  It's time for Christians to get up on their tip-toes and peer through the moments labeled "ordinary life."  These windows are parable moments sent to deliver God's extraordinary message of love and relationship.

  

 

 

 

 

 

When all of her kids entered school, Marisa found the time to put the finishing touches on The Coram Deo Secret and Parenting ComParables while teaching the material at her local church. She then published the books through Lulu.com as it became apparent she needed to be ready to lead more classes, conferences and retreats. 

 

 

 

 

 Enemies.

 

Marisa is currently putting the finishing touches on her first novel titled, Married in the Midst of our Enemies.  It depicts the supernatural struggles at work in a couple's marriage, which mirror the supernatural battles Christians have in maintaining an intimate relationship with the Lord.
